When did you start your journey as CA Student?

I started the CA Course in 2014

What / who inspired you to choose CA as a profession

My Father's dream.

Where did you join your articleship?

I did my articleship from BM chatrath & co.

Tell us something about your journey to becoming a Chartered Accountant, how you started CA Course, the challenges you faced, the hurdles you have gone through, your articleship experience, etc.

After 12th, I found CA as the best career option. Then I started my journey to become CA. I cleared my CPT in first attempt. 

 

After that i aim to clear inter and final at one go. But that time i don't know the level of exams. Somehow I able to clear my CA inter first group in 2nd attempt. Then i stucked in CA inter group 2. I cleared my group 2 in 5th attempt. 

 

My CA final journey then started, and i decided to go for both groups. In May 2019 I appeared in both group, but i wasn't able to clear and scored exemption in my elective paper i.e, Financial services and capital market. After that again i appeared for both the groups in Nov 2019, that time i scored 406 marks, but i passed only in group2. After that I wasn't able to clear my group 1 due to Audit. But Finally dec 21 was the attempt I became a Chartered Accountant. Also in the same attempt my younger sister qualify Cost Accountant final exam and now she became Cost and management accountant (CMA). I think 2022 starts with proud moment for my family.

What or who helped you most in your tough times?

My parents and my siblings shubham and shalu helped me alot in my tough times Apart from my family, some of my best Friends, Richa, Biswajeet, prashansha, Neha who are like my family support me alot. My Roommate is like by big brother Manish bhaia and Umesh Bhaia guide me during my CA journey

What was the feeling of clearing CA Final Exams, the day when you actually earned CA to your name? describe something about that moment

When I see the result 'pass', it was such a emotion that I can't describe in words. At first i called my father and tears were rolling down from both of us. That day was the proud moment for my family and close friends 

Which books you preferred during your preparations

Paper	Author / Faculty / Tips
Financial Reporting	The study notes of Parveen sharma sir helped me alot to understand the concepts. And before exam i only practice institute sums
SFM	I took coaching from Aditya jain sir. The concept notes of sir is so simple. This helped me alot to scored 74 marks in SFM paper
Audit	I followed pankaj sir scanner and do written practice
Law	Munish bhandari sir's book is best for self study
AMA / SCMPE	I followed satish jalan sir's notes and practice questions from institute mat
ISCA / Electives	I follow the guidance given by Aditya jain sir and able to scored good marks in FSCM
DT	I followed bhanvar borana sir's summary videos and notes and question bank
IDT	I took Vishal bhattad sir classes and follow the guidance given by him for my preparation

How much your relied on online notes shared by faculties time to time?

Except law and audit, i took all subjects classes. And it helped me alot. I was able to secure exemption in 6 papers in my CA final exam

How much your relied on online revisionary classes shared by faculties time to time?

Not Very much

 

A piece of advice you want to give your fellows, that will help them in their studies / Life

I would like to suggest not follow multiple faculties material for preparation. And starts early for final exam preparation because the syllabus is so vast. And if you took classes then complete all the classes atleast 4 months before exams

How many hours do you think is enough to devote for a student appearing in exams during last month of preparations?

During the last month of exam, it is vary from person to person. But ideally i study 8-10 hours a day in my final months of exam.
