    Qualifications



    Minimum qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field of study or equivalent practical experience.
    • 7 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate finance, or similar commercial analytical role.


    Preferred qualifications:

    • Ability to communicate with a management team.
    • Excellent analytical and technical skills (e.g., Spreadsheets/SQL) working with large volumes of complex data.
    • Distinctive problem-solving and analysis skills.

    In this role, you will provide decision support to the India sales management team at Google. As a member of this team, you will be involved in projects partnering with various teams in finance, sales operations and strategy, and across many products including Search and YouTube.

    The name Google came from "googol," a mathematical term for the number 1 followed by 100 zeros. And nobody at Google loves big numbers like the Finance team when providing in depth analysis on all manner of strategic decisions across Google products. From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.

    Responsibilities


    • Provide management with clear insights and recommendations into drivers of business growth, market trends, risks, and opportunities leading to business enhancing growth and product actions.
    • Engage in analyses to understand business performance, and provide concise summaries and recommendations to management.
    • Support critical financial planning processes such as business growth forecasting, goal setting, budget management, and business performance evaluation.
    • Identify new business opportunities to increase business growth performance and profitability.
