SAP IS Utility FI-CA

Responsibilities

To provide functional knowledge with hands-on experience for Electricity, Gas or Water Industry.
Hands on experience configuring the IS-U system
Drive Business Workshops, Blueprint Sessions, develop BBPs/BBDs FS, Test Scenarios, conduct Trainings, perform Testing and provide defect management support for FI-CA module
Design core / customized business processes and provide best practices for ISU.

Communicate complex requirements to and from Technical and Non-technical stakeholders
Willing to travel as per requirment
Experience
Should understand different business process in of Utility Industry (Regulated and Deregulated)
Should possess SAP FICA knowledge for preparation of business blueprints, business process plan (BPP), functional documents, and test cases etc.
Should have knowledge of the Meter to Cash
Should have experience in FICA Dunning procedure/Collection Strategy, payment (cash desk/external cash desk) integration with payment channels, write off, return processing, security deposit, installment plan, and promise to pay.
Should have through knowledge of Payment reconciliation with 3rd party and Bank.
Experience in configuring FICA Events and BRF+ (functional).
Strong knowledge of clearing strategy, clearing rules.
Experience in Cash Desk and clarifications.
Should have knowledge of Configuration for setting up credit worthiness(in SAP) and with 3rd Party, Payment collection agency,
Managing Send items to Collection Agency and auto reversal of bill, manual posting (custom), refund management of any mode of payment.

Ability to develop custom solution using as much of standards way.
Should have good knowledge of FICA tables so as to generating Payment and reconciliation reports on demand.
Implementation of installment plan and payment schemes, deferral of payment configuration
Strong knowledge of month-end and period-end closing and FICA to FICO GL integration.
Develop templates and methods to improve the efficiency of application support.
Gather and prioritizes relevant SAP Business requirements and designing the appropriate solution

Understands configuration dependencies and inter-relationships between other modules of SAP such as Device Management, CS/CRM, Billing and design and troubleshoot in the area with this knowledge
Defines test scenarios to cover full scope of the business as well as creating master data and carry out the unit, cycle and integration tests

Graduate / Post Graduate/ MBA with relevant experience in SAP Utilities
Work Experience
5-6 years hands on experience in configuring and designing SAP ISU FI-CA module
Should have minimum two IS-U implementation project experience as lead consultant
