We have brought you a new success story of one of our subscribers who worked hard to earn CA to her name. We have asked her a few questions regarding her preparation techniques and her experience of the journey as a CA Student. Her words may give you some ideas to prepare and score well in the next exams.
Meet CA Mounika M
I started the CA Course in 2014.
I heard that CA is one of the toughest courses in India. After going through the curriculum I thought this is something different and which has drawn my attention pursuing this course
I've started CA course in 2014 I cleared CPT in the first attempt and later on, I started preparing for IPCC and cleared the same in first attempt After clearing my Ipcc I was in ICU and by God's grace I was out of it completely. And later I joined for a articleship in a mediocre form and due to late working hours in office somehow managed to attend SFM class. Later I decided not to join any classes and started self-preparation... Had given my first attempt in May 2019 and failed in that attempt.. while preparing for Nov attempt I realized that" Failing to plan is planning to fail" and this time I made a plan and executed it and I've finished my CA in Nov 19 attempt
In order to succeed in any exam, planning is very important... Along with that studying on a smart basis rather than referring 2 to 3 books... Choose one book and stick on it
Good study environment and avoided using social media
12 hrs with breaks in between and being positive and revised the ones which I 've studied earlier and during this time I've not prepared anything new.
I've referred formula booklet shared by Aditya Jain sir which helped me to revise the same on last day and for remaining subjects I prepared short notes and revised the same
Actually, I've not seen any revisionary videos
Despite endless sacrifices, late working hours in the office. In the end, hard work with smart work has paid me and I'm happy to see my parents reaction after clearing the exam
Make sure that a proper plan is made and follow the same without any delay. All the best for CA Finalists in advance

When did you start the CA Course?
I started the CA Course in 2014.
What / who inspired you to choose CA as a profession
I heard that CA is one of the toughest courses in India. After going through the curriculum I thought this is something different and which has drawn my attention pursuing this course
Write something about your journey to become a Chartered Accountant, how you started the CA Course, the challenges you faced, the hurdles you have gone through, your articleship experience, etc.
I've started CA course in 2014 I cleared CPT in the first attempt and later on, I started preparing for IPCC and cleared the same in first attempt After clearing my Ipcc I was in ICU and by God's grace I was out of it completely. What was your overall strategy to clear exams?
In order to succeed in any exam, planning is very important... Along with that studying on a smart basis rather than referring 2 to 3 books... Choose one book and stick on it
