Job Description

Yearly Accounts closing activities as per Ind AS and IFRS Group reporting

o Planning accounts closing activities, Co-ordination with Internal Teams and External Auditors

o Facilitating the audit by the External Auditors (statutory and group audit)

o Collaborate with business teams to close the Audit open points

o Responsible for getting the Accounts Audited by External Auditors

o Providing appropriate explanation for various items in the financial statement


Ø Month end closing activities

o Planning the monthly closing activities, Co-ordination with various teams from the LE

o Ensure all subledgers are closed on time after posting of all entries

o Preparation of monthly accounting schedules and circulation of the same


Ø Responsible for in depth analysis of Profit and Loss account and Balance sheet and providing business reasons for variances.

Ø Providing ad-hoc reports which are requested by Management

Ø Driving changes within the organization to comply with the changes in Accounting Standards, Companies Act time to time.

Ø Orchestrate discussions between various cross functional stakeholders, Business Heads for Business insights

Ø Handling preparation for Board meeting related deliverables with reference to Financial Accounts

Ø Ensure that the working across the internal stakeholders are conducive, harmonious, coordinal and take regular feedback on the services offered by the department.

Ø Provide inputs / guidance to the central department for Indian legal requirements and timely implementation to cater to the local GAAP requirements


Qualifications


Chartered Accountant with 3 to 5 years of Experience


Additional Information


Candidate having SAP work experience is an advantage
