About the Role
Our financial planning and analysis manager will be the backbone of our operations in helping us ensure our accounting and compliance operations are running like a well-oiled machine. They will present the monthly and quarterly financial reports of various stakeholders and put in place monthly, yearly and long-range program plans from bottoms up.
Your typical day at Feeding India would include
- Preparing monthly P&Ls by program and geographies
- Reporting detailed variance and causal analytics on major cost items, identifying opportunities to drive efficiency and maximising impact per donor dollar
- Providing all financial inputs for donor/ investor reporting
- Partnering with programs teams to drive a high quality meal maximisation oriented decision-making culture
- Developing new financial and operating metrics to ensure that the FP&A framework is geared to account for ever changing programs and on ground realities
- Support program managers with tracking their yearly and quarterly budget, by monitoring and reporting expenses on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis
- Providing Internal Management Reports - with clear insight into growth drivers, risks and opportunities
- Meeting with the managers to review key financials such as program cost, vendor management and headcount on a monthly/quarterly basis - to help provide visibility and guidance throughout the budgeting cycle
- Analyzing and preparing recommendations for operational plans, and present to Executive
- Management on a quarterly basis
- Focusing on streamlining and improving processes - with the objective of providing more value-added analysis to the management
- Collaborating with the Zomato Finance teams every month/quarter - to track any inter-department budget transfers
- Liaising with managers across the globe, to discuss best practices and lend financial & analytical expertise
Here’s what we are looking for
(Technical Skills)
- CA / MBA Finance
- 6-8 years of FP&A and business partnering experience
- Prior experience of working on pricing, costing, variance analysis etc.
- Good understanding of fundamental business dynamics
- Great communication skills and stakeholder management
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and often with unstructured
