This role requires a strong communication and inter personal skills to communicate with senior management as well as to employees effectively and solve their queries with turnaround time. Responsible for lease accounting (IFRS-16) for India entities and interaction with corporate finance to explain monthly impact and reconciliations. Managing employees travel claims and strengthening the current process would be core focus.

What does the role involve?

Core Accountabilities
Accounts Payables
Good Understanding on PTP processes and employee reimbursements.
Handling lease accounting (IFRS-16) independently.
Responsible for insurance renewals and keeping a good track of all insurance claims.
Interact with management team for their credit card reconciliations and queries.
Verification and approval of vendor invoices (viz. hotel, flight)
Approval/checking of concur claims. Bring process efficiency. Align with other countries who follow the best practices and implement the same in India.
Deal with bank for managing corporate credit cards, credit limits and agreement renewals.
Processing of vendor payments: lease rents, travel claims.
Month end closing. Monthly reconciliations of rentals and opex, expense accruals for travel advances, prepaid expense amortization.
Treasury - liaison with bank for bank guarantees,
Working experience with SAP.

What you need is:

  • Applicant Profile
  • Qualified MBA/CA Inter with more than 3 years of experience
  • Good Knowledge on Accounting standards.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in AP management,
  • Strong functional expertise in Finance and Analytical skill.
  • Advanced level knowledge in SAP/ MS Excel
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
