• Providing Support framework for Standard reports and dashboards, ensuring this meets the needs of various stakeholder groups within Operations / Finance team
  • Liaising with stakeholders on the data discrepancy/issues in data or unusual data trends so that timely action can be taken and/or suggest probable solutions in managing them
  • Finding answers to queries related to system information by approaching various technical teams or system teams involved in transaction handling in a given system
  • Looking for ways in which reporting solutions can be improved and providing insight to various teams that would help manage their activities better
  • Adhoc reporting as per business requirements
  • Day to day delivery of reports to the business as per the agreed SLAs
  • Extracting large chunk of data from various systems and collating, analysing it to produce good quality reports for submission to management.
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding.
  • Collecting and analysing data, and preparing reports identifying and investigating issues, and planning how to tackle them outlining current procedures, to highlight any inefficiencies
  • Should have analytical skill to provide customer the adequate reasoning on the movements, trend analysis and variance
  • Continuously review processes and systems in the light of business requirements and identifies changes that are necessary to control the risks and/or improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Reports statistical drivers as part of regular Senior Management Reporting, Sales Reporting, as well as ad hoc reporting. Works with cross functional teams and internal counterparts to budget and forecast the key statistical drivers.
What you will need to succeed

Mandatory

Relevant financial experience in an international and/or complex environment, with a proven broad knowledge of financial practices and procedures
  • Working knowledge of MS Access, excel and BO Business Objects);
  • 2-3 years of experience in MIS, preferably in Telecom revenue reporting
  • Understand the Business scenarios like service delivery, service assurance, order processing reporting,
  • Experience of working and liaising with shared and virtual teams
  • Knowledge of Reporting, Business Intelligence and Management Information Systems
  • Experience analysing large amount of data for the book to bill process systems
  • Advanced Excel/Access/Business Objects/VBA skills
  • Experience of working in a busy, demanding environment
  • Possess a consistent and methodical approach to tackling problems
  • Logical thinker
  • Fulfils own role largely independently with only key milestones, deliverables and decisions being reviewed
