As you are aware that ICAI has been implemented objective type exams for 30 marks for some papers of CA Final and CA Inter from May-June 19 exams.

Students are having lots of confusions regarding the use of PEN or PENCIL on OMR sheets which is given to students for answering objective type questions

News has been reported from many examination centers that even teachers presented there in exam hall were not even sure or confused regarding the use of PEN or PENCIL which cost students time and concentration to perform their best in exam



so if you are confused then, let me tell you that your confusion is going to be completely solved be reading this post

It's simply very clearly written in admit card instructions regarding sheet

wherever circles need to be darken, only pencil is to be used,
wherever something is to be written, only use black ball point pen

so for roll number/paper no. / paper code question booklet serial no. / Question booklet set no./ Level of Exam / Stream, 
when u write roll number in digits in the box, use PEN
when darkening circles under them, use PENCIL

when signing on OMR, use PEN

when answering questions, use PENCIL

This is final and the correct interpretation of instructions given in admit card by ICAI itself

    What is to be done if all the circles are darkened in pen apart from the circles for answering? Will it be valued?

    Our examiner instructed us to done all the circle are darken in black pen...only answer of mcq are darken by pencil..will it

      If you have solved with Pen, then it is done now, you can not alter in any case, and yes your answers will still be counted

    I just forget about the circle instructions that circle should be darkened by pencil i was just used black pen for roll no omr sheet code etc..... Can you please help me about query that it will accepted by the Institute and OMR ?
