About this Job:

Role Purpose

• Manage team and ensure delivery of small changes and global/regional projects.
• Manage multiple stakeholders
• Provide steady state support in delivery of small changes and small enhancements across technologies
• Partner with Business users to understand the business requirements and deliver efficient solutions
• Combine high expertise in Finance and Procurement processes as well as cross-functional process to ensure deployment of solutions is in line with Syngenta standards, Ways of Working, methodologies as well as leading technical / SAP practices
• Partner with the Project Team and deliver large and small projects in the end to end Project Lifecycle
• Effective communication and collaboration with business users to enhance client satisfaction.

Accountabilities

• Provide Steady State support in Small Change delivery
• Holding meetings / drive fit-gap sessions with Business and other stakeholders, researching processes, collecting data & business requirements, analyzing information and performing related tasks
• Preparation of Business Requirement Specification (BRS) documentation
• Manage stakeholders across the Syngenta eco-system including Business users, IS organization, Business Architecture and cross tower organizations
• Closely work with Syngenta System Implementation partners to ensure successful change delivery
• Design and review the solution in collaboration with the Steady State Support/ Project team
• Manage the cross functional integration points with Production & Supply, Sales & Distribution , MDM and Data & Information teams
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Training for the business users
• Track and resolve the Hyper-care issues
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the different phases of the project for successful deployment of the solution
• Opportunity to work on new age technologies including Robotics, Analytics and other software platforms and applications
• Manage team of 15-20 people

• Ensure smooth WOW
• Ensure highly motivated and fully utilized team
• Ensuring smooth execution of regional/global projects
• Review and approve the Solution Design Document, Functional Requirement Specification (FRS) and Testing Plan
• Preparation of Training Material, Conduct UAT and Key User Training
• Track and monitor Hyper-care issues

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

Functional Competency: Solution Design and Project Delivery

• Total experience of 15 to 20 years in Finance and Procurement processes including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Internal & External reporting, Treasury, Costing, FP& A, Asset Accounting, Profit Centre Accounting
• Total experience should include 10 to 13 years of experience as team lead and managing multiple stakeholders.
• Should have SAP Finance knowledge
• Must have digital mindset with attitude of process automation and innovative thoughts.
• Change management and quick in adapting things

Leadership Competency : Stakeholder Management (Internal & External), Change Management

• Ability to influence stakeholders both internal as well as external
• Ability to do impact assessmement for the change for an end to end process
• Helps process owners understand opportunities for Process Improvements
• Good Inter Personal Skills: Ability to partner with internal & external stakeholders
• Ability to work virtually and across cultural boundaries
• Independently support Projects for Finance, Procurement and IT

Qualifications

Minimum education and critical knowledge required for the job:

• CA/ MBA
• Working knowledge of Finance and Procurement processes including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Internal & External reporting, Treasury, Costing, FP& A, Asset Accounting, Profit Centre Accounting, Materials Management & Procurement
• Strong in people management.
