Role
This role supports PBB Executive Committee through financial performance analytics and reporting for the Revenue, Balance Sheet and key metrics of bank performance. Key deliverables are franchise flash and reporting packs, which play a role in the Budgeting and Forecasting exercise in coordination with Business Intelligence teams.

Your responsibilities

As Senior Associate Financial Control & Reporting your key responsibilities will be:
  • Responsible for providing consolidated results such as Flash Reporting, Rolling forecast, Board Pack etc - Monthly, Quarterly, half yearly and annually
  • Review analysis of drivers of variance
  • Provide data analysis and commentary on financial records for management information and reporting
  • Execute control framework and monitor internal control reports
  • Oversee adherence to policies and procedures to manage exposure to financial and operational risks
  • Support business developments and initiatives including Hierarchy changes, systems testing, policies and procedures and Management adjustments to support reporting views
  • Support ad hoc requests for developing reports by business managers or ExCo members
  • Proactive identification and effective management and/or escalation of conduct risk to deliver key customer outcomes.



The skills you will need
  • CA/ICWA/MBA Finance
  • Post Graduate in commerce (MBA/CA/ICWA inter) with proficiency in Financial accounting principles and knowledge of balance sheet, P&L and ratios
  • 5-7 years’ experience in a Financial Services environment, preferably Business Intelligence
  • Good problem-solving skills, with proven ability to apply finance knowledge and experience to a diverse range of financial issues
  • Strong analytical and commentary writing skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite products, particularly MS Excel
  • A strong understanding of IFRS Accounting Standards
