Hello everyone...
First of all, let me thank CA PASSION for giving me such an opportunity to share my journey and experience with you all.
There are some Takeaways from my CA journey which I think you all should consider-
1. Stick to your own study plan rather than following blindly others.
2. Do not keep switching your group... if you feel you cannot go with both the groups, it's fine to go with 1 at a time... but just stick to your decision, respect it.
3. Do not refer to multiple books or keep changing your books, stick to one or two and revise from them again and again.
4. Do not underestimate yourself and your capabilities.
5. The only person that can keep you motivated is you yourself...No external motivation will keep you motivated unless you decide to be.
So now starting with my journey...
I was a direct entry student... I started my CA journey in 2014.
Everything was nice.. going good since everything was new.
I enjoyed it a lot in my article ship period.. my colleagues and seniors were so supportive...
I have got the best return gift from this journey in the form of my BESTIES😍.
Along with the article ship, I had to do my studies of IPCC.
It took 3 attempts for me to clear ca IPCC exams
Almost everyone says that it's difficult to handle studies along with job but I realized during my IPCC that this pressure of the job helps us to be active, be consistent, be motivated, and helps us to study effectively without wasting much of our time...
As it is said "excess of everything is not good", same goes for this as well.. and this we all have experienced in this last year of lockdown😅.
Now coming to my CA FINAL journey...
It took me 4 attempts to clear the final exams.
The journey wasn't so adventurous but yaa there were some of my own silly mistakes that took me 4 attempts to clear.
The only biggest advice I would be giving is to stick to your decision respect it and act accordingly... If u feel according to your strength to can handle only 1 group. Please respect it and plan according to that...
I had wasted my 2 attempts in switching groups...
While choosing between groups I would suggest going with that group first in which you are comfortable with.. for e.g. I enjoy studying financial reporting, direct tax, and indirect tax...
So I decided to go with group 2 first since 2 subjects were those in which I was interested and 3rd elective (open book) was there so this made me clear group 2 easily...
And trust me.. when we clear any of the groups or get exemption in any of the subjects.. your confidence level... your level of dedication increases to a great level...
Secondly.. don't just keep switching your books and strategy...
Trust the book you are referring to, trust the author... And revise everything multiple times this helps us to retain things for the long term.
Thankfully I had support from my family.. mom dad Bhai, that they didn't force me to quit my studies... since I m a girl.. marriage pressure is always there.. even I had but from my relatives, my parents never forced me to do anything which I didn't want to...
So it is important for u to have your goals clear in your mind... if your mind is set... no one can actually demotivate you or let you down...
And as I said earlier, follow your own method of studying rather than following others blindly...
There are many youtube videos for study plans etc. I had my whole 1 separate book wherein I used to write such YouTube's study plan, however after some days, I used to lose my interest and back to my own flow...
So it is very much recommended to follow your own plan, sit and decide which is your strongest subject which is your weak subject, and make your plan accordingly.
And whenever I used to feel frustrated or whenever you are bored of studying... I used to do sketching...
Not an artist but yaa this used to help me to get back and study with full concentration of mind...
Just have faith in you☺️
All these sacrifices, pain, sleepless nights... Now I am feeling that yes everything was worth it...
Just stay focused🙌
What or who helped you most in your tough times?
My family and friends ❤️ I am so blessed to have such a supportive crowd around me.. that I didn't find myself alone even for a single day throughout this journey.What was the feeling of clearing CA Final Exams, the day when you actually earned CA to your name? describe something about that moment
January 2021 result.. it was told that it will be announced on 21st March evening or 22nd morning.. But as we all know around 2 p.m. normally the results gets announced. However, this didn't happen this time... We all were waiting the whole day refreshing the sites of icai...and around 8 p.m. Dheeraj sir did 1 tweet that either it will be announced today i.e. 21st March at 10 p.m. or tomorrow i.e. 22nd March at 10 a.m. I was like "bus kuch b hojaaaye aaj raatko hi bta dena... Full day aise gya h, hum raat b is tension me nahi nikal sakte" Later on, I got frustrated, and nearly at 9.30 pm I turned off my net and went to do some work... Around 10.15 p.m. I again turn on my net and saw some telegram post that results are out... My heartbeat was so fast I can't even explain that feeling in words... I checked my result and I saw those words "PASS" in it... Only my father and I were at home... Thanks to my one of the telegram friend CA MAYANK TRIVEDI... Who gave this idea to me to record 1st expression of my family... Daddy was having his dinner... And I suddenly said "papa m pass ho gayi" and I couldn't imagine... My dad actually had tears in his eyes... That moment was so special... At that time I realized whatever we have to sacrifice.. all functions, occasions, festivals, everything was just worth it... And then my mom and Bhai came home... I told this and they were so so so happy 😅 Next 2 days my brother was calling me "oye CA aa Kari le, CA CA CA" Trust me guys.. do whatever is possible from your side... On the day of the Result, you guys will be proud of yourself along with your family❤️❤️Which books you preferred during your preparations

How much you relied on online notes shared by different faculties from time to time?
Notes are reliable.. however, I feel there are some disadvantages.. like whenever we students see any new material available in the soft copy we tend to switch our material no matter how close the exams are... I have also experienced this.. so yaa I feel though the materials are reliable, they shouldn't be available all time...How many hours do you think is enough to devote for a student appearing for exams during the last month of preparations?
Hours actually don't matter.. what matters is how effectively you are studying.How did CA Passion be helpful in completing your journey from CA Student to CA
