Important changes for Students in CA Course

1. CPT is renamed as CPC 


2. Graduate / Post Graduate students are exempted from CPT 
provided : 
i) graduate or post graduate in commerce having secured in aggregate a minimum of fifty-five per cent. of the total marks or its equivalent grade in the examination  conducted by any recognised University (including Open University)  by studying any three papers of 100 marks each out of
- Accounting
- Auditing
- Mercantile Law
- Corporate Law
- Economics
- Management (including Financial Management)
- Taxation (including DT & IDT)
- Costing
- Business Administration / Management Accounting
OR
ii) graduates or post graduates other than those referred to in clause (i), having secured in aggregate a minimum of sixty per cent. of the total marks or its equivalent grade in the examination conducted by any recognised University (including Open University)


3. CS Inter / CWA inter cleared students are eligible from CPT


4. PCC / PCC renames as CA Inter (Intermediate Course)


5. CPT passing criteria  : 30% in each & 50% aggregate
