Works under the general direction of a Supervisor and performs routine Financial/ Reporting tasks & Fund Expenses activities

What are the ongoing responsibilities of Sr Financial Reporting Analyst?

Job Description

• Prepare Regulatory & Adhoc Reports for various stakeholders as well as Regulator Assist in seamless closure of Statutory and other Audits. 
• Ensure that all daily work is performed in accordance with department policy and procedural guidelines 
• Ensure that all month end and fiscal year end activities / reportings are completed accurately as per required deadlines
• Manage and improve day-to-day analysis and reporting
• Manage and improve the financial planning process
• Evaluating the regulation changes and its impact to fund
• Monitoring and review of compliances with SEBI regulations & different reporting requirements
• Knowledge on Mutual Fund Regulations and AMFI Best Practices
• Responsible for timely release of all expense payments and vendor management
• Deducting, Remitting and Filing of returns as required by the statutory bodies
• Uses prescribed guidelines or policies in analysing situations
• Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction
• Continues to build knowledge of the company, processes and customers
• Good Excel knowledge, Analytics and data interpretations skills
• Good Communication skill - inter and intra department communication required

Education & Experience

This position requires the following minimum prior experience based on level of formal education:

Bachelor’s degree with 2-5 years of experience /MBA or CA with 2-3 years of experience

Work experience should include the following areas:

• Experience in Mutual Fund Industry
• Budgeting and financial forecasting
• Fund accounting/Reporting
