DRAFT XBRL TAXONOMY FOR FINANCIAL YEAR 2014-15 HAS BEEN RELEASED:

 
The taxonomy for the Commercial and Industrial Companies have undergone a change owing to the requirements under the Companies Act 2013, and the rules notified thereunder. Accordingly, the Taxonomy Development and Review Committee of XBRL India has finalised the draft taxonomy for Commercial and Industrial Companies based on the notification of the sections under Companies Act 2013, new rules and forms thereunder.

It may be mentioned that the new Form AOC 4, which is 23 AC/23ACA under the erstwhile Companies Act, 1956, is yet to the notified by the MCA. The elements included in the taxonomy w.r.t AOC 4, have been included on the basis of the draft form as of now, which may undergo a change with the notification of the form.

Changes in the taxonomy includes:

• Addition of new ELRs on Corporate Social Responsibility and Secretarial Audit Report.
• Additional disclosure requirements in Board’s Report.
• Modifications in the Auditors Report owing to the introduction of CARO 2015 in place of CARO 2003.

Comments are invited on the draft XBRL taxonomy for commercial and industrial companies updated on the basis of the requirements of Companies Act, 2013 and its Rules.
